Ubaldo Molesti

Is a visual artist born in Serravalle Pistoiese in 1954. His research spans painting, installation, and performance, exploring material as an emotional and human space. After artistic and architectural training in Florence, his path was enriched by experiences in design and planning, before returning to art as a deep, intrinsic necessity of making.
In his work, matter stratifies, blends, and transforms: layered surfaces, organic filaments, and transparencies construct unstable spaces where the visible opens onto what remains unspoken. His practice moves through painting and installation as a necessary act, capable of transforming fragility into energy and the mark into experience.
He has exhibited in museums, public spaces, and galleries in Italy, pursuing an authentic, independent, and profoundly human research practice.
